- Characters don't move to appropriate positions during cinematics.

The game seems like a lot of fun.

The chaotic pickup certainly makes things harder (I got the reverse controls) and having to pick the right twin for the job is a nice game mechanic.

I also like the sprite work. Very cute Fuwamoco!

Unfortunately I couldn't progress much in the game because I got a bug where the character animations get stuck and refuse to jump, which is crucial to progressing in the game. It got very painful trying to get jumps done and I had to give up in the second room.

Another bug I found is the UI doesn't display properly when full screen on my ultrawide monitor. The dialogues are a bit hard to read when not in full screen.

I hope you guys continue polishing the game to add sounds, fix some bugs and fine tune the difficulty. Looks very promising!

Sorry about the bug! There are several bugs I tried to scrub out at the very last minute involving character state and physics and I feel like I just made them worse haha. The UI bug I didn't notice until after I submitted as well which is an easy fix so I am sad I missed that.

Additionally.... balance is.... hard.. LOL or I thought we would be able to go through an balance everything on the last day or 2 but oh boy it didn't work out that way. One of the regrets is not spending more time on that throughout the entire design process.

It is something we plan on going back and cleaning up everything but I think our plan is to turn the design direction into more of a bullet hell metroidvania opposed to a hardcore platformer.

Just had a bug where the A and D movements inverted.

That is actually a random effect from the "chaos rat" orb thing you pick up.
The pickup provides several random effects with inverted controls being one of them!
Sorry that wasn't properly explained or insinuated!

LOL if you grabbed the Bae orb/pickup thing it gives a random "chaotic" effect one of them being a speed change.
